Canada Day Tulip: Tulipia

With the celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary in 2017, I used the medium of coloured pencil for this five stem version of the Canada Day Tulip to celebrate our country and highlight our true Canadian colours. The previous Fall I planted forty Canada Day Tulip bulbs in a location in my garden so that family, friends and neighbours could enjoy these unique and distinctive blooms resembling a Canadian flag. As of this 2018 Spring, we once again enjoyed these unique and beautiful tulip bulb blooms.
