Canada Day Tulip: Tulipia

With the celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary in 2017, I painted this three stem watercolour version of the Canada Day Tulip to celebrate our country. The previous Fall I planted forty Canada Day Tulip bulbs in a location in my garden so that family, friends and neighbours could enjoy these unique and distinctive blooms resembling the Canadian flag. As of this 2018 Spring, we once again enjoyed these beautiful tulip bulb blooms.
