Snowberry

Snowberry: Symphoricarpos albus

This watercolour composition of the graceful Snowberry bush blooms with small and delicate pink flowers, which mature into snow-like berries. Snowberry bushes attract bees, as well as providing shelter for nesting birds. The berry fruit does contain a poisonous substance, but they are well known and planted for their ability to tolerate city environmental conditions. The Snowberry is part of the Honeysuckle family.
